I used to run in college. Then life happened—career, kids, everything. For years, I told myself I'd get back to it 'someday.'

What finally worked wasn't a strict training plan or a streak tracker. It was giving myself permission to start small and be inconsistent.

My first 'run' was a 10-minute walk around the block. I posted it on Strive anyway. The encouragement from my community surprised me—people celebrated that I showed up at all.

Three months later, I ran my first 5K. Not because I never missed a day (I missed plenty), but because I kept coming back. That's what Strive taught me: consistency isn't about perfection. It's about returning.
