I was the king of frozen dinners. Cooking felt like this huge, intimidating thing that 'real adults' did.
I didn't set out to become a chef. I just wanted to cook one new thing each week. Some weeks it was fancy pasta. Some weeks it was scrambled eggs.
The updates I posted on Strive were embarrassingly simple at first. Burnt toast. Overcooked rice. But people cheered me on anyway.
Now, a year later, I host dinner parties. Actual dinner parties. All because I stopped trying to be perfect and just started cooking.
